Chapter 1 is the first chapter of the IWGP Denshi no Hoshi manga.
Synopsis[]
Teru went to Ikebukuro looking for Makoto Majima in order to ask him for help about his lost friend Kiichirou Asanuma. At first, he wasn't able to find Makoto, but he eventually met two men who knew him and took him to Makoto. There Makoto asked him for money in order to find his friend, but as he didn't have any, they started beating him up.
Meanwhile, the real Makoto was meeting with a girl due to a friend request. The girl needed help, but as he understood she was just trying to get him into a pyramid, he decided to leave.
On his way back, he saw the people beating Teru, but decided to ignore them, until he heard his name. He then got involved and picked a fight with the man and his men that impersonated him. As he beat them, Teru requested he to help him find his friend, but Makoto was refusing. Teru kept going with him and talked about his friend and eventually, Makoto decided to go look for his friend.
When they went into the apartment where Kiichirou was supposed to leave and broke in, the place looked abandoned. They started searching it in hopes to find something and Teru turned on his laptop. There he saw a message from skinny Kiichirou, which shocked him. In the message, Kiichirou who was struggling to find a job and needed money decided to get involved with dangerous people in order to secure some money for his brother to go to a good college. At the end of the video, he told them to not look for him, if he doesn't return, as he was dealing with dangerous people, but hearing this Makoto decided to look for him.
